This little owl was found with an injured wing and was admitted to the centre. We had the wing x-rayed and it was determined to be a clean fracture to the upper wing. Our local veterinary team acted fast and rushed the bird into surgery where the bones were reset into a natural position. The bird underwent an extensive rehabilitation programme before being transferred to a local Raptor centre for further rehabilitation to prepare for his release back into the wild.
